Scotland-based supplier of labels DE Product Labels has installed a HP Indigo WS4500 to make use of its short-run capability to provide low to medium print volumes to its customers.
According to the company, the HP Indigo press will allow the company's customers to print versioned labels with metallic effects.
The press will do away with the cost of printing plates and also allow DE Product's customers to make changes on the press, whether it is a file change, color or material substrate and finalize the exact label.
DE Product currently supplies labels to industries including bakery and engineering and further plans to target other sectors such as versioned labels for whisky products along with pharmaceuticals, health and beauty.
